Green Street Communities, INC. offers their clients a unique custom home building experience unmatched in the industry. They identify and acquire desirable home sites and offer clients the ability to either design and build a newly designed custom home, or personalize one of their pre-designed floor plans.  Green Street offers homes ranging in size from 1,700 - 6,500+ square feet, priced from $400,000 to $3 million+.

During 2008 and 2009, Derek successfully invested in distressed real estate consisting of short sales, foreclosures and REO’s, completing over 500 transactions totaling $100mm+ in sales.  In addition he has managed private investment funds for high-net-worth individuals and family offices since 2011.

Derek was born in Wisconsin and grew up in North Carolina. He has been a valley resident since 1999, where he and his wife Lisa and their twin boys reside.  The family lives in the Town of Paradise Valley in their new Green Street Communities, INC custom home that was completed in early 2014.

Dan came to Arizona when he transferred here from the University of Wyoming. His true passion for years, though, was homebuilding, and out of school he started as a house framer.  Being more cerebral than physical, he soon left the field work and joined Pulte homes in 1992.  He has worked for several public builders, two private companies and for himself as a General Contractor. He is a Licensed Contractor in both Arizona and New Mexico.  He has held almost every position in Homebuilding Management from customer service to superintendent to VP of Construction, and has truly enjoyed every position held. Dan has served as Vice President of Homebuilders Association in Santa Fe, NM, and completed the Central AZ Homebuilders Certified Construction Manager Program.

He started investing in Real Estate in 2001 out of high school and received his real estate license in 2004.  Even while earning his bachelors in Accounting from ASU, his passion for real estate continued, and he started going to the courthouse steps in 2009 to bid on foreclosed properties to buy for himself and other investors for rehabs or buy & hold investments.  He was an active Realtor with other Brokerages until joining Derek Jarr and what would eventually become Green Street Communities.
